What is Merino Wool?

Merino wool knitwear is a premium natural fiber known for its softness, warmth, and breathability. Sourced from Merino sheep, this wool is finer than regular wool, making it incredibly smooth and softer against the skin. Merino wool is naturally moisture-wicking, odor-resistant, and temperature-regulating, keeping you warm in cold conditions and cool in warmer climates. Its lightweight nature and elasticity make it ideal for a variety of clothing such as sweaters, base layers, socks, and outdoor gear. As a sustainable natural fiber merino wool is highly durable and biodegradable promoting longevity of wear and lower environmental impact as a replenishable resource.

The Benefits of Merino Wool

  • Moisture absorbent
  • Breathable
  • Temperature regulating
  • Softer than regular wool

How to Wash Merino Wool

Merino wool can be gentle machine washed at up to 30C with a mild wool wash detergent, we recommend cold wash to avoid shrinkage of the natural fibers. Air dry flat away from direct sunlight to avoid fading and cool iron. Do not soak, wring, rub, bleach or tumble dry. We do not recommend dry cleaning merino wool garments.

How to Care For Merino Wool

Gently fold to store merino wool garments away from sunlight, ensure garment has been aired after each wear.
